We're having a lot of follow up on the CMA Fest, since Patty is now playing and folks are traveling in for it....

The CMA Fest is still going to happen, and Patty will still be playing the Riverfront Stages on Friday, June 11th.

Those of you attempting to take care of your hotel situation: PLEASE be patient....concerns of Opryland Hotel not responding yet-- most likely because they have a massive amount coming in right now, with their phone lines being down. Give everyone a few days to deal with what is going on here right now. If you booked the big package, with Opryland, your tickets to the festival are still good. You are only being refunded the hotel portion of your package. Opryland will not re-book you elsewhere, you will need to do this yourself.

Here is a list of a few hotels that were not full at the time that I called-- that doesn't meant they'll stay that way. If you need to book a new hotel do so now! Remember we have families staying in hotels that were affected by the flood, so for CMA Fest, most hotels will be 100% full.

Also, we've been fielding some questions regarding CMA Fan Fest & Patty's appearance since some of you are flying in for it. We are unfortunately still experiencing rising waters in Nashville. I have not heard of CMA Fest changes, and wouldn't expect any to come up until they are able to survey damages downtown, and I don't really think Fan Fest is at the top of their concerns right now. Those of you with hotel reservations will want to check on your accommodations, since multiple hotels are flooded, and some anticipate being closed for months. Many evacuees are in hotels as well, so accommodations in Nashville will be tight. The Gaylord Call Center is temporarily out of service, so please be patient if you're calling into the Opryland Hotel.
