The
Virtual Race for DRIVE4COPD between Patty & Danica Patrick kicks off
tomorrow, April 19th. The race will continue until May 2nd. For the overall campaign, Patty currently has almost 22,000 screeners, with a 4,000+ lead. We want her to stay in the top spot!
We need everyone's support to help Patty win the race, and to help the goal of screening 1 million people in 2010.
During the course of the virtual race, they will have tweets to encourage screeners. If you're on twitter, you can re-tweet these tweets. New, and don't know how to re-tweet?
Click here for a crash course.
You can also tweet daily reminders to all your followers! Include Patty's name and the campaign name, and it helps to include "#4COPD" on your tweets, to help make that a trending topic....Not sure how to put all this in 140 characters or less? Example's of PLN's reminders are:

If you're not on twitter but use networking sites like Facebook, you can still use the reminders to post on your status update, and you can post the link directly onto your facebook wall for COPD's website.
Be sure to send the link to all your friends- you can plug the link or you can use Drive4COPD's
email a friend function.
Not all of your local radio stations are running the radio Drive4COPD PSA, so putting a call into your local DJ's to get them to plug the campaign before/after they play PL (so beg them to play her) will be helpful! If you listen in online, most of your stations will have emails listed for each DJ, along with their air times. Don't spam the stations, keep it short & simple, and only request when you're actually going to listen in for a little while.
